Arlington, Texas — Decision Analyst, Inc. announced today its homepage for marketing and marketing research executives. The homepage, www.decisionanalyst.com, includes published articles on marketing topics and free research data for businesses and the media. The site even offers free statistical software that can be downloaded directly off of the Internet, and marketing executives can go to Decision Analyst’s homepage and get free advice from professional consultants about marketing and marketing research issues via e-mail.

Since its creation in the summer of 1996, Decision Analyst’s homepage has been visited by thousands of businesses across America and from many foreign countries, including India, Hungary, Italy, Singapore and China, according to President/CEO Jerry W. Thomas.

The homepage also includes a summary of the company’s services and history, and includes a marketing research discussion forum. "Our homepage site became popular so quickly that we were overwhelmed. We had no idea that executives were so interested in marketing research or the Internet," Thomas said.

One of the web site’s most popular features is a free statistics program, called STATS™, an easily downloaded IBM PC Windows program that calculates sample sizes needed for surveys, and computes the mean, standard deviation, standard error and range for keyboard-entered data. It also features significance testing between two percentages for independent samples, and contingency table analysis.
